VILLAGE DE GIGNAC
A beautiful village in the middle of the Hérault, with many architectural jewels, and a nice courtyard with loggias
In the middle of the Hérault valley, Gignac is a winegrowing village that is as lively as a beehive, especially on Saturday, market day. Huddled within its ramparts, this village has architectural jewels. Its numerous 13th century doors echo its 12th century tower and its Saint-Pierre church. At 23 de la Grand-Rue, the former hospice dating from the 17th century is now a rural home where you can discover the pretty inner courtyard with loggias. The Notre-Dame-de-Grâce chapel is also worth a visit.
