SAINT-MARTIAL CHURCH
Church built in 1858-1859, in the center of Hérépian's village of stone houses and narrow streets.
Saint-Martial church was built in 1858-1859, on the ruins of a 15th-century château. Neo-Gothic in style, it was restored and extended along the north-south axis. It is built in the center of a village of stone houses and narrow streets. The main door is on the west facade, where you can see a characteristic 17th-century decoration: small scrolls under the pediment, which would have topped the front door. Opposite, the shade of the two-hundred-year-old plane tree (planted in 1807 by Mr. Chauvet, a Hérépian) invites you to rest not far from the fountain.
