The estate is located in the hamlet of Babio, which is part of the municipality of La Caunette. Perched at an altitude of 200 m, on the foothills of the Black Mountain, the vines enjoy generous sunshine. The 11 hectares are made up of traditional grape varieties. Taken over in 2003 by Cécile Weissenbach, an oenologist by training and above all a wine enthusiast, the estate has turned to quality production (small yields, rational control). At the tasting: AOC minervois, vins de pays and table wines, in rosé and red, packed in bottles or bag-in-boxes. Also worth discovering: the Syrius 2016 vintage, which won the gold medal at the general agricultural competition in Paris in 2018. With a name like hers, the estate had to start a biological conversion... Which has been the case since 2017!
