LE KHALY'S
When you arrive at the port of La Grande Motte, Khaly's offers a friendly and warm setting, which continues in summer on its nicely decorated wooden terrace. The owners of the house, Fanny and Mamzé, make it a point of honour to introduce you to their revisited Mediterranean cuisine, inspired by the flavours of the world, from Thailand to Cambodia, Senegal, New Zealand and Japan... True to their open-mindedness to the world, they regularly invite musicians to play live, whether it is jazz, pop or even music from the 1980s. On the table, after being tempted without regret by the Espelette pepper avocado and its shrimps in Armagnac sauce as a starter, you can always fall for a fresh fish, served depending on the arrival, or by a good Aubrac meat. Unless you opt for one of their specialities, starting with gambas and chicken woks, bluefin tuna and wakame tataki, scallop risotto or vegetarian kemia (an assortment of appetizers prepared in the Maghreb style). As for the brewery, there are no false notes among a few sure values such as classic meat skewers, mussels and chips like at home, duck breast and the special dish of the day. Note that the restaurant also offers a catering service at home and can be privatized in the evening or at lunchtime.
