THE PLACES
In the Couchant district of La Grande Motte, two squares give a good overview of the talent of their designer, Michèle Goalard. He traces on the ground the first, the place of the Ancients of Indochina, a black and a white figure and installs two fountain sculptures, reflecting the philosophy that permeates the works of art of the city: within everyone's reach and always intended for a use, such as that of serving as a shower for holidaymakers after the beach. More esoteric, the Cosmos Square draws a representation of the universe, with its "red ball" (the Earth), the rays of the Sun and its basin (the Moon).
