This field is the result of a common ambition and a family passion. The story begins with Maurice Piccinini, a talented young winemaker who learned his trade on the job. Thanks to his talent and dynamism, he was quickly elected president of the cooperative cellar of La Livinière. His ambition at the time: to obtain the recognition of the Cru La Livinière. It is with the collaboration of Mr. Piquet of Château Gourgazaud and the support of several passionate cooperators that they came to an end in 1998. Thus was born the AOC Cru La Livinière. The winegrower passed on this passion to his son, Jean-Christophe. Since he was a child, he has helped his father on the farm, learning the trade on the job. At the age of 21, he decided to take the plunge and launched himself into the business full time, the only requirement being to own a personal cellar with his father Maurice. It is the latter that wine lovers visit throughout the year. They come to stock up, discover the activity and meet the enthusiasts.
