SAINT ETIENNE DE CAVALL CHAPEL
This Romanesque chapel houses the statue of Notre-Dame d'Entraygues. It's also a stop-off point on the Compostelle pilgrimage route.
The chapel is an ancient religious monument of great beauty, which was plundered during the Wars of Religion and only restored in 1713. Inside the sanctuary is the miraculous statue of Notre-Dame d'Entraygues, which, according to tradition, was discovered long ago at the confluence of the Vèbre and Agout rivers by an ox scraping the ground. This Romanesque chapel is a stopover on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela.
