Frédéric L'Huillier takes the succession of artistic direction and defends the institution of the Festival de Lamalou. He presents opera, opera and musical comedy during the 6 weeks of his summer festival which, each year, hosts more than 8000 spectators. The real feature of this festival is its permanent troop. Frédéric L'Huillier, in fact, is returning with the tradition of creating a sedentary troupe that presents the many performances of the festival. Since 2003, Lamalou has been proposing in winter another festival with performances, concerts, conferences and projections of musical films.
