ARENAS OF LANSARGUES
Beautiful shaded arenas with an enclosure classified as a historical monument in Lansargues, hosting various events.
A symbol of local bullfighting passion, the Arènes de Lansargues perpetuate the ancestral tradition of the Course Camarguaise. This modern enclosure pays homage to the village's past, when the bious (bulls) used to be carried in carts. Although marked by tragic historical events, this site is first and foremost a place for festivities and live entertainment. From March to October, experienced raaseteurs and students alike come here to cross paths with the fearsome bulls of the Camargue. The Trophée des As is in full swing, before giving way to the festivities of the Fête Votive.
