MINE LIGHTS
Le Bousquet-d'Orb's museographic space hosts a permanent exhibition dedicated to the evolution of mining lighting
The Bousquet-d'Orb museum is hosting an exhibition devoted to the evolution of mining lighting from the 18th century to the present day. Over 150 mining lamps, everyday objects, postcards and other old documents from Philippe Estang's private collection are on display. They are authentic testimonies of the miner's work. Illustrated panels complete the collection and tell the story of the former Graissessac coalfield, from the first concessions to the closure of the mines.
