Bernard Adell is a desert enthusiast. Following a Paris-Dakar, he decided to collect testimonies and archives of the land of this vast continent of Africa for over 20 years. Fishing on the ground floor: fossils, ancient minerals, rock paintings, potteries, arrowheads, Tuareg jewelry, Theodore Monod's business; and upstairs the conquest of the Sahara with the meharistic and military dress and relics of Charles de Foucauld and General Laperrine. To our knowledge the only museum in France is to be devoted fully and sustainably to the people of the Sahara.
