FORMER EPISCOPAL PALACE - TOWN HALL
Episcopal palace, with a beautiful Louis XV staircase and a park, hosting the town hall of Lodève and adjoining the cathedral.
The bishop's palace, now the town hall, stands next to the cathedral. Built in the 17th century, it is remarkable for its paved courtyard and brown and green glazed tile roof. Inside, the elegant Louis XV staircase has been preserved. Continuing towards the Allées de la Résistance, a visit to the park is a must. The monument to the dead sculpted by Paul Dardé is extraordinary, depicting a realistic group of four widows.
