On the premises of the former royal manufacture, established in the 17thcentury by Colbert, you can watch the meticulous work of the craftsmen. They focus on huge antique and contemporary carpets, creating copies of historical models for the Mobilier National. Some of these works and renovations can take more than ten years to complete.
