VILLAGE DE MARGON
A village located in a vineyard setting, with a superb feudal castle with towers and turrets in warm colors
Housed in a vineyard setting, this charming village with its irresistible charm is wrapped around its superb 13th century castle. The proud and dominant appearance of this feudal castle, around which the medieval village is built, leads the clever ones through the charming alleys of its circulation. This very imposing manor draws the eye to its many towers and turrets in warm and reassuring colours. Its garden, 32 m long and of at least equal height, is accessible by banastas, arches raised in the 18th century. The church is just as magnificent. In Romanesque style, built in the 12th century, it has preserved the vault of its former nave. Inside is a magnificent Renaissance altarpiece, a painting of the baptism of the 18th century inscribed in the buildings of France. The 12th century bell tower has two vaulted floors.
