L'ESCALE
Change of ownership since the end of 2013 or rather a return to sources for this address that is a restaurant, a brasserie and an ice-cream shop at the same time. Because it's a family story, that of Grosso that is going here! Dad first: He created the Coté Sud restaurant, then sold it until his daughter (at the service, at the reception hall and at the bar) and the grandparents (in the kitchen, at the shellfish and at the service) decided to take ownership of the restaurant under the name L'Escale (opened in March 2014) and to rebuild its reputation of yesteryear! Reduced menu to work with fresh products and homemade ones. You can enjoy an ice cream during the day, you can give yourself an appetite with tapas (tapenade, eggplant caviar, roasted peppers, shellfish, salads; Taste the "homemade musts" like the clam spaghetti of the grandmother, the risotto of scallops with mushrooms, the fresh fish from the market served whole on the plate (skewers of monkfish and gambas, sea bass, sole), the top-quality rib steaks and tartares, the original baba with mojito, or a pastry of the day (tarte tatin, lemon). A good address!
