This gourmet event showcases local produce and know-how, with a host of activities.
This event dedicated to the eel is held in Marseillan since 2015. It takes place in October and many activities are held on site: market of local producers and craftsmen, local products, educational tour by boat, demonstration of traditional smoking, fun activities to rediscover the species, presentation to the public of the jobs of fishermen and shellfish farmers ... On the tasting side, the eels are cooked and consumed on the spot or can be bought raw to be prepared on the way home.
