Here is a saling club set in a most renowned water sports house with already 30 years of experience in sailing and water sports! They offer here various ways to sail: windsurfing, dinghy, sports keel boat, catamaran, optimist, stand up paddle initiation... The instructors are all sportsmen and women recognised in the field, 1st and 2nd degrees state graduates and having a perfect knowledge of navigation on Etang de Thau. They adapt their courses and the equipment according to the age of students. The school also offers group outings in caravel. The Marseillan Sailing Circle offers a wide range of activities to have fun in summer: rental, private tuition, training for all ages and even company days for great thrills with colleagues.

-lots of different boats to choose from
-tons of wind and no cutoff windspeed for heading out that I know of (I was out in 35kts)
-inexpensive rental and private lesson rates if you get the Pass Sensation
-really chill vibe with two patios(upper floor for adults and lower for everyone)
-they are stocked with coffee, beers, drinks and ice cream (a drinks card costs 30€)
-there’s an insanely fast foil boat you can take a ride in for 100€ for an hour
-performance sailing lessons with Attila are really helpful
-the warm and inclusive sense of community
What you should know:
-it’s not a chic or elitist yacht club
-bring your own food, they don’t sell any
-it’s easier to communicate in French than English
