Hotel appreciated for its terrace, its restaurant and its personalized rooms
Composed of several medieval houses, the hotel, planted in the heart of the Cathar village, has kept its charm of yesteryear. Its ten rooms nestled in the old stone, all personalized, are very comfortable and tastefully furnished. In the restaurant, the guests will be enchanted by the tasty associations, comfortably installed in a room with walls decorated with contemporary works. A pleasure for the eyes and for the stomachs! The view of the Brian gorges adds an extra touch of charm, so don't forget to book the terrace.

The setting is still pleasant, quality produce is very good, but unfortunately, little culinary research, and the service is simply deplorable! Staff irritated at the request of our share, and clearly makes this irritation feel. Thus a bad atmosphere.
Problems of cooking meats. I asked during the eating, cooked well ++, and a blue meat was served me! Half of us, embarrassed, was in this case.
Moreover, in dishes from some of us, ingredients were omis. Duck tournedos was completed by its piece of pan-fried foie gras only in some dishes (for the same dish of course)!
As for the starters, piece of foie gras my neighbour was not wider than a room of the 2nd! Whereas my part was much more generous (for the same entrance of course). Without exaggeration none.
The moment to pay the bill, we informed of our remarks to the waitress and the chef. The latter clearly did not enjoy our critics and sent to feed with a disconcerting aggressiveness! What can you expect from a chef who does not take into account the opinion his guests?
That splits me the heart, I loved much this front restaurant, but today I can recommend it to nobody. We are too disappointed to be treated therefore. We were a table of 9 people taking a menu 41st. This staff obviously forgot that its guest pays products, a kitchen, and a service.
Here we did not feel the passion of the trade.
Chantovent did not receive awards longer since 2007, and I am not surprise.
