RESTAURANT DE LA TOUR
Good value seasonal cuisine and a nice wine list in a restaurant with terrace in Montady.
The restaurant de la Tour has more than one trick up its sleeve (or rather in its kitchen) to seduce its customers in search of good seasonal gourmet dishes, well orchestrated by Tony Mattu and his team. The restaurant is located on the heights of the village right next to the Saracen tower with a superb view of the oppidum of Ensérune. The modernly decorated room with a nice fresco of the village is very pleasant. Clever tip: to enjoy the view, choose the (heated) terrace or a table near the windows. A mix of tradition and modernity, Tony's cuisine, which follows the seasons, always has a few (good) surprises in store, such as these cuttlefish tagliatelle with Colonata bacon and aubergine caviar as a starter. Dishes with exotic flavours have seduced us like the sea bass with its lemongrass and combawa emulsion and more traditional, the crispy king pigeon with foie gras...divine! The menu is so tempting that one wonders when we'll be back before we've even ordered dessert... A very nice address, an efficient service, a nice wine list and a good value for money, fox is conquered!

J'y retournerai
