HÔTEL DE PÉGAT
An imposing hotel with a surprisingly long façade, a rusticated portal, mullioned windows and a baluster staircase
Formerly known as "Sainte-Camelle", rue Montbel is home to the Hôtel de Pégat. This imposing residence comprised the street's current numbers 11, 13 and 15. Although restructured in the 17th century, the building still features a rusticated portal and mullioned windows (late 15th century) linked by a common drip moulding. The balustered staircase it once housed can now be seen at the Saint-Martin de la Garrigue estate. Its façade is surprisingly long, allowing it to have three stable doors.
