An old ORM door, which means "abalone door" in Occitan, with a three-lobed window at right-angles.
In the Middle Ages, Montagnac was equipped with ramparts and five defensive gates. Located at the entrance to the Grand-Rue Jean Moulin, the Porte de l'Orm was one of them. In Occitan, its name means "abalone gate". Perpendicular to it, the rue Corderie has a three-lobed window dating from the late 13th or early 14th century.
