ÉGLISE SAINTE-EULALIE
Very imposing church whose bell tower was built by the Knights of St. John of Jerusalem in the 13th and 14th centuries
This church is very imposing, and in its stones you can read almost a hundred years of history. It is bare, as were the first Roman buildings. Base walls dating from the first century AD have been uncovered. The bell tower, built by the Knights of St. John of Jerusalem in the 13th and 14th centuries, is 32 m high and allowed the watchmen to monitor the surroundings. It was classified as a historical monument in 1987. Its stepped roof is very similar to that of Notre-Dame-de-la-Mer in Saintes-Maries.
