PIZZERIA DU PALAIS
This pizzeria, opened since 1965, has become a Montpellier institution. In a beautiful arched room typical of the architecture of the Eccusson, the deco is unpretentious: green, red or white tablecloths, paper table tops and some pretty lighting. The doughs are hand-made and the pizzas cooked over wood fire of good quality. Gourmet people can even opt for the big pizza, but even those who are very hungry won't possibly finish it! The menu offers a choice of thirty pizzas as well as pastas and antipastis dishes. The cuisine is good, but we can still regret the welcome that is not always friendly and prices that are so high, a little too much in view of the service offered.
