A FAVELA
Pan con tomato, pan con tomato y jamón or manchego, patatas bravas, homemade tortilla, chorizo and goat cheese: the menu of this small tapas bar of Ecusson a little bit hidden in the Rue Alexandre Cabanel smells like Madrid or Barcelona. Here, the atmosphere is rather family, with notably the friends of the owner, who seem to have made it their canteen. A straightforward atmosphere, without fuss, even a little rough, ready and rugged that can make some people frown but will seduce lovers of authenticity and true people. The homemade tapas are more than correct and a particular care (Spanish-style aperitif obliges) is taken to the wine, with regional wines but also from Spain or Portugal. The place is really small (the downside is the very limited number of the tables on a tiny terrace, it is too bad for the summer), it is advised to book, it is safer.
