LE BISTROT D’ALCO
This famous address nestled just behind the Prefecture has the merit of offering invariable prices, for lunch and dinner. Dark and chic in its taupe colors, the place spreads over two levels and on a small outdoor terrace. In the taste buds, as a starter: salmon marinated with honey and ginger or a roasted camembert; as a main course: a rib of bull with béarnaise sauce or pan-fried small cuttlefish with parsley; and for the dessert, you will salivate between the suzettes pancake flambées - in the dining room! - or the Marronnière (vanilla ice-cream, chestnut cream and hot chocolate coulis).

Disappointment.
Expeditious service, the waiter did not know what was composed salad, a " a salad quoi" ... all without smiling, carefully to disturb.
Basic and ordinary dishes, the Tartar (empty).
Quality/price too expensive, but the center of Montpellier is paid.
Then, if you are ready to mall eat and pay a bill savoury ..... avoid.
