Restaurant offering amazing, gourmet and very copious dishes

Everyone in Montpellier knows La Tomate... and visiting gourmets are just waiting to discover it! Indeed, this restaurant is a city institution. Operating for over 60 years, it is the oldest establishment in the city. Its large fireplace, wood panelling and checkered tablecloths attract hungry tummies. What's on the menu? The dishes are astonishing, gourmet and copious. Among the must-try dishes are the aioli provençal, the rouille de sèche and the excellent cassoulet with duck confit.

For 15 years I have dated and I never disappointed. You would think you were in a " bouchon" lyonnais but with a local cuisine. I trust purchases market and the Chef's suggestions. It faur absolutely book in advance as for lunch it is often overbooked: it is normal there is no better value in Montpellier (in fact I find this quality of cuisine only in some small lyon restaurants or the south-west). Ideal friends!
