Le Ban des Gourmands is a very original and very friendly concept, with a table d'hôte concept where the atmosphere rhymes with simplicity, precision and authenticity. A cuisine that is authentic, homemade cuisine and that makes you smile. There is the taste of freshness and the heart of the chef, including his apprentices, who are very well trained! Here is a real neighbourhood bistro where Jacques Delépine, a graduate of the Ferrandi school and trained at Guy Savoy, works hard to offer a varied, colourful and gourmet menu. With a range in mezze way (cod fritters, pointus with aioli, stuffed piquillos...), prawns with Espelette pepper, a large dishes made with burger of Aubrac, carpaccio, skewers and two or three ideas of the moment according to the market. Very tight prices, a small regional cellar. The room is pleasant and you can be welcome with little tapenade and small candle lit for you. The hotel offers two options, one for lunch and one for dinner. We have chosen the Terre (Land) menu: grilled meat of Aubrac, duck breast with figs and crusty foie gras with black trumpet mushrooms. As for the service, be a little patient, if we are slow to serve you, the reason is that we will take the time, precisely, to do it well.
