LA GRANDE BRASSERIE
The inhabitants of Montpellier never come to eat on the Comédie. Under the leadership of Joan and Arnaud, the address has been given a new look since the end of 2013. A dining room in a chic brasserie spirit which is very modern and quite dark, but cordial, where high-tech chairs slightly electric purple with old velvet seats typical of Parisian bistro. The bar has remained intact, but the establishment has taken a great clean shot and that is a good thing. There is no need to describe to you the large terrace on the Place de la Comédie so much it is renowned and appreciated. The chef, Maecor Jouga, who sailed on the 5 continents and who is well known in the region for having awakened our tastebuds during a few years on a private beach of La Grande-Motte, will offer you a bistro cuisine with mediterranean and Asian touches, a fusion cuisine, a grand bazaar burger beef fillet, grilled vegetables, sweet potatoes. Renewed with the seasons, the menu revisits your classics. Among the signature dishes, you will not resist the laquered duck breast with honey, the prime rib of our terroirs à la plancha, without forgetting the scallops, the meal salads and many other gourmet dishes. As for wine, beautiful classical references from our region harmoniously mix with Grand Cru Classé and wines from around the world.
