Let's face it, this little restaurant in the center has been a problem for us. Positioned on a niche "cooking like at home", the bosses cannot be blamed for being friendly (which is unfortunately less the case of the waiter who took care of us that midday, polite but really no more) nor the products to be fresh. The setting, very old, is not attractive either, but everybody has different tastes and we can't blame the bosses either. Last year's Renard ended up with an almost uneaten dish, having had trouble with his overcooked vegetables, his stringy meat… in short, not really a disaster but not far. So, we have insisted and try the experience again because this restaurant, which has been there for several years is unanimous for local merchants and it is always full. A very friendly bosses, fresh products, it's successful. The cuisine is very simple, without fuss, no frills and has declined in quality since its beginnings but it is still a friendly address for its lunch formulas at very pleasant prices. Here, we eat like at home, and it's perhaps what attracts local traders who are often in a hurry and don't want to eat a sandwich. Here, we eat fresh vegetables, pasta, or a savoury pie of the day and homemade desserts. People come here mainly for the value for money, we forget the decorations in the plates or the perfect cooking, even more the decoration. Let's say that we eat here properly at lunchtime, without getting excited, but it is still good and fresh.

Lovely food. I had a piece of beef with Roquefort sauce. The plate came with an assortment of sides, with good homemade taste. I appreciated the variety!
