Established in 1949, this national association has been recognized as a public utility since 1955. As such, it intervenes at the request of the State (for example, communities or schools) to "encourage all initiatives to reduce the frequency and severity of road traffic accidents". In other words, in this case, to explain to young people what the dangers of the road are and how to avoid them. Communities or businesses may also request Road Prevention to organise days of internal training for agents or employees who have to conduct a vehicle regularly in the course of their profession.
