Like all FRAC, that of Montpellier's main purpose is the creation of a collection of contemporary art, representative of the actual contemporary creation. The Fonds Régional d’Art Contemporain has as a mission, through exhibitions and publications, to raise the public's awareness of contemporary art and participate in the development, dissemination and knowledge of all forms of contemporary creation. In this beautiful scenic area, each artist chooses according to its uniqueness and occupies its own way, the public was able to discover: Pierre Giner, Ghazal Radpay, Dora Garcia, Claude Closky... If the place, a little way out of the city centre, may surprise you by its relatively small size and the limited number of art work exhibited, contemporary work lovers will be seduced by the originality of the exhibition. The entrance is generally free, and it is always pleasant to give explanation on the works to the non-initiated ones.
