Gibert's bookshop opened its doors on Place des Martyrs-de-la-Résistance in 1956, making it the oldest bookshop in the city! Far from having lost any of its dynamism, the address is still appreciated by lovers of low-priced books, with almost 135,000 references within its walls and on its website. Several departments: youth, cinema, history, fine arts, tourism... It also houses Montpellier's largest stationery shop, as well as CDs and DVDs.

Vendre un livre aux propos transphobes, tellement discriminatoire qui pourrait être mené en justice, vous n’avez pas honte ??? Au rayon féministe en plus ?!! Gibert c’est terminé pour moi et mon entourage. Proposer ce genre de livre c’est clairement prendre position pour l’incitation à la haine envers les personnes trans.

Je recommande à 100% cette librairie. le fait de pouvoir acheter des livres récents d'occasion permet d'économiser beaucoup d'argent.
La librairie est également très grande et très agréable.
