Deeply-held in the Figuerolles district, the Gérard Philipe Theatre is a cultural space open to creation. Integrated to the Maison pour tous Joseph Ricôme, it gathers the inhabitants of the district around inspired shows. The theatre welcomes many companies in residence throughout the year allowing local artists to develop their ideas under the best conditions. By doing so, it has become one of the city's popular laboratories for young emerging artists. The theater is also a partner of many schools and encourages the elaboration of educational projects around the performing arts.
