LE KALYSTHE
It is one of the rare tea rooms in Montpellier which makes pastries, cakes and chocolates. Emilie, Marie-Thérèse, and Jean-Louis Cabezos come from rue de Verdun, where they already run, Le Palais Romain, a famous tea room. Upstairs, the manufacturing workshop, two rooms including one vaulted. At noon we have salads, ravioli with casserole, veal stew, for a cuisine, all in all, family. In the afternoon, the summer on the terrace, the Dammann tea is served (ginger lemon green Tea, Darjeeling...) as well as the hot chocolate à l'ancienne and delicious homemade pastries, pies à l'ancienne (lemon, crumble) or royal chocolate- praline feuillantine and chocolate mousse. Without forgetting the café croissant at 2 € every morning. The best value for money of the city.
