Frédéric Chaudière has been making violins, violas and cellos since 1986. Located in the Magnol Hotel in Montpellier, this student of the Newark School of Violin Making shapes instruments for prestigious clients: great musicians who play all over the world. More recently, the violin maker has been working on making a cello for a 15-year-old Montpellier prodigy, Joël Geniet, according to the standards of 13th century luthiers, whom he masters from the choice of wood to the finishing touches.
