ENSEMBLE VOCAL DE MONTPELLIER
L’Ensemble vocal de Montpellier was created in 1973 by Jean Gouzes and has managed by Frank Fontcouberte since November. This training consists of a symphonic choir ranging from 90 to 100 people and a medieval and baroque choir from 20 to 28 choristers. In this association only singers with a minimum of practice are allowed, although some are selected by the only quality of their voice, without necessarily practised solfeggio and singing. Founder, Jean Gouzes works a repertoire composed of baroque, romantic or contemporary works. Consisting of a hard core of singers, the training is expanded with every start of newcomers, including students. They perform at the Opéra Comédie or Corum. Inscriptions and hearings in September. Weekly rehearsals.
