Established in Montpellier in 1984, this committee coordinates the actions of the 240 associations representing some 12 000 licensees. If it is able to answer all questions relating to the pedestrian trails in the region (and guide visitors towards the good interlocutors), its great specificity is to train, throughout the year, to hike animators. Who will then be perfectly at the top to make you discover the thousands of kilometers marked paths allowing you to calmly appreciate the charming and characterful departments. In 2017, the Languedoc-Roussillon committee merged with that of Midi-Pyrénées to become the Comité Régional de la Randonnée Pédestre Occitanie.
