ASSOCIATION LANGUEDOCIENNE DE KYUDO
The Languedoc De Association was founded in Montpellier in 1986. Led by the highest ranking of France, also members of the highest ranking group in Europe, the Montpellier dojo offers a demanding, welcoming, user-friendly, disinterested and volunteer teaching to all those seeking the traditional Japanese arc. This discipline draws its roots in the warlike techniques of the samuraïs and various medieval rituals of the land of the Rising Sun. In addition to sporting activity, the kyudo is for its most assiduous practitioners an art and a philosophy. Discipline is akin to classical archery, but fully integrates with Zen spirituality. Twice a year, in October and January, the association organizes introductory days for beginners. The dojo is open to the curious during workouts.
