Founded in 1860, the Société d'Horticulture et d'Histoire Naturelle de l'Hérault groups together several sections dedicated to the observation and study of biodiversity. At this Montpellier-based institution, you can take part in a wide range of botanical, entomological, geological and mycological activities. Exhibitions, lectures, introductory field trips... each activity will pass on the knowledge of nature experts, with passion. There's also an extensive library to help you expand your knowledge. On Monday afternoons, you can even take part in a free mushroom identification course.
