The BIC relies on two main components, Cap Alpha and Cap Omega business Incubators, which can be incorporated (after examination of the file) from young innovative enterprises in high-tech sectors: biopharmacy, human and plant biotechnologies, computers, computers, etc. In this organisation, Cap Alpha specializes in the life sciences (technological and health enterprises) and Cap Omega in information technology (ICT). These two structures provide all necessary services to their incubated devices: offices, workshops, biotech laboratories, with shared services (reception, telephone, computer, Internet, meeting rooms). the BIC in Montpellier was named the best global incubator in the US in 2007.
