The Demeter Points of Cleanliness, set up by Montpellier Métropole throughout its territory, are set-in and gardiennés sorting spaces that allow individuals to dispose of bulky objects, rather than abandon them on sidewalks or in full nature. These clean points receive household toxic waste (plant protection products, plants, solvents, solvents, batteries, paints and rubble) and also serve to recover recyclable products (glass, metal, plastic bottles, paper, cardboard) plastic bags, batteries and batteries, plants, bulky objects… In total, 20 garbage stores spread over the Metropolis (Le Crès, Baillargues, Lavérune, Pignan)., Pérols…), including 4 in Montpellier. Access to these Hotspots is free, subject to presentation of the Pass Métropole card. You can consult the map of the 20 points offered on the website of Montpellier Agglomeration, with their hours of operation and the nature of the waste they welcome… The Smart Council: The staff will not necessarily help you unload your waste… So plan a friend for a hand! Some bins are only available in 1 or 2 steps! Read: since January 30, 2017, the 20 déchèteries of the Metropolis are equipped with porticos, providing access to passenger vehicles or small utilities only. Large volumes (+ of 1 m 3) can no longer be deposited.
