Maison de Heidelberg owes its existence to a university and municipal twinning that links the two old university cities of Montpellier and Heidelberg. Since its creation in 1966, it has continuously expanded its activities: teaching the German language, organising cultural events, making library available, scientific exchanges between universities. In addition, for members of themed evenings, choirs, a literary circle, a cinema club and the Stammtisch of a Franco-German club.
