On more than 12000 m ² and with 1400 seats, the Émile Zola media library welcomes Equalised in several thematic areas: music, science and recreation, history and society, Occitania, philosophy, literature and arts. One of them, named Homer Space, was specially designed for the visually impaired, with a suitable guiding system and reading computers. The municipal archives are spread over a surface area of more than 900 m ² on the third floor, with the heritage sectors of the audiovisual library, the precious books - the «Bibliophilie» room with wonders - the library of Occitania, the legal deposit service and the search rooms. On the ground floor, the News forum offers a hundred regional, national and international daily newspapers, as well as three hundred general or specialized information magazines. This includes an excellent source of information for young people in search of documentation on working life - books, magazines and web sites on work, employment, trades, trade unions, training, competitions. The website of the network of librarians allows you to search for a documentary and to know the date of return of the work sought.
