TROIS SUPERBES BALADES À MOTO, EN TOUTE SÉCURITÉ

In the Hérault, three itineraries have been specially designed for bikers by the department. They can be downloaded from the website http://www.herault-tourisme.com. Between mountain and sea, vineyards and scrubland, these varied rides around the bends allow you to ride alongside UNESCO World Heritage sites, major French sites and natural parks. A safety diagnosis has been carried out by the department in partnership with the FFMC34. Dangerous obstacles have been removed, and the roads have been maintained and developed on two tourist itineraries. A Hérault moto signposting system marks these loops, follow it for a safe discovery. To fully enjoy your road trip, adapt your speed and ride "zen". Careful driving will considerably reduce the number of crashes. Check : helmet, gloves, yellow vest... let's go !

From the southern Larzac to the Mediterranean (165 km, 3h to 4D in walking mode; departure and arrival from Montpellier). Sneak into the heart of the three great sites of the Causses and valleys of the Hérault: 165 km of pure, colourful happiness. Breathtaking landscapes follow on from one another without a care in the world. On the programme, the great France® site of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert-gorges de l'Hérault, the red earth of the Salagou lake, the unexpected chaos of the Mourèze circus, steep roads lined with vineyards, the Lodévois... To your bikes!

Gorges de l'Hérault and Montpellier's garrigue (120 km, 3h to 3D in walking mode; departure and arrival from Montpellier). This itinerary leads to the great French site of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert-gorges de l'Hérault®. Under the Mediterranean sun, the road flirts with the Hérault river for about ten kilometres before attacking the laces of the pretty Buèges valley. The landscape suddenly opens up to the charming village of Saint-Jean-de-Buèges and its feudal castle, dominated by the impressive Séranne mountain.

Between vineyards and the Orb valley (155 km, 4h to 3D in walking mode; departure in Villeneuvette, arrival in Roqueredonde). You will gain height with this itinerary which joins in a roller coaster ride the medium mountains of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park. After a gentle start where peaceful straight lines lined with holm oaks follow one another, you will find yourself in no time at all zigzagging through the heart of the attractive Orb valley surrounded by the vineyards of Saint-Chinian and Berlou.
