Built in the 19th century, the place is a former church converted into a cultural space since the 1990s. After numerous renovations, it has become a sensational art centre. Completely desacralized, its elements are now part of the decor. We particularly appreciate the marriage of contemporary works (paintings, photographs, sculptures, etc.) with the coloured stained glass windows that brighten up its stone. In total, its refurbished nave allows artists to appropriate nearly 600 m². The monument is inaccessible due to works.

De nombreuses expositions y ont lieu tout le long de l'année et l'endroit avec ses grands volumes, met en valeur les œuvres qui y sont exposées.

A chaque fois que je descend sur Montpellier, je prend toujours le temps de passer par "le carré Sainte-Anne", il y a toujours un événement culturel qui ne laisse pas indifférent; le dernier notamment, intitulé : AL Mécanisme d'Aurores pour Horloge Crépusculaire occupe tout l'espace et interroge vraiment le visiteur

It is the highest church in the city. Do not hesitate to get there. It is quite surprising to see a deconstructed sacred character of church: it is empty of any furniture lithurgic. You will find free exhibitions of contemporary art.
