The main place of burial of the city, with its endless centenary alleys, this cemetery is typically Mediterranean. Opened in 1849, it welcomes over 6 hectares the vaults of many of the bourgeois families: Sabatier of Espeyran, Cambacérès, Montcalm or Lunaret, and personalities such as Charles Flahaut or Alexandre Cabanel, Alfred Bruyas the painter, and where the shadow of Queen Hélène in Italy still flows (moved in December 2017). Guided tour with the Tourist Office. The cemetery is still active and respect is in place.
