WAR MEMORIAL
War memorial designed by architect M. Février in 1923, bearing the names of the main battles of the Great War.
This imposing arc of circle a little hidden within the esplanade is a memorial designed by the architect M. Février in 1923. It also bears the names of the main battles of the Great War. The words "Honor" and "Fatherland" are engraved on the pillars at the ends. This monument takes up the concept of the crypt: by going down a few steps, one arrives at a basement decorated with the impressive list of children who died for France. A place of respect and commemoration.
