THE STATUES OF THE CORUM
These strange headless statues, near the Corum at the end of the Esplanade Charles de Gaulle, puzzle everyone. The fact that they were set up very close to the Place de la Comédie has created a real controversy. But beyond the debate, they seem to have won over tourists who often take pictures of themselves in front of them because of their originality. In a very neoclassical sculptural style, they represent languid but headless women, modern and striking works that seem to have found rest in front of the Palais des Congrès. You either love or hate them, but they certainly don't leave you indifferent. But isn't that the whole purpose of contemporary art?
