MEDIEVAL GARDEN
Garden composed of squares of medicinal plants, designed as a tribute to the private herb gardens that existed in the Écusson.
This cute garden of 740 m² has the particularity of being composed of squares of medicinal plants. It was designed as a tribute to the private herb gardens that existed in the Ecusson, and to the tradition of teaching plants at the University of Montpellier since the 15th century. The numerous fragrant and medicinal species are arranged according to the sun and shade zones, and framed by small boxwood borders. The bottom of the garden offers a high terrace for resting, and a beautiful example of renovated medieval vaults.
