POTTERS GARDEN
Small garden planted with exotic species, a site that was once occupied by pottery workshops in Montpellier
Right next to the Corum, hidden from prying eyes, this small garden planted with exotic species - palm trees, oleanders and cypresses - is home to the remains of the Saint Esprit church, which was active in the 13th century, discovered during the construction of the first tramway line. On the ground, the path of caladons reproduces the authentic aspect of the Cami Romieu. This site was once occupied by potters' workshops, whose kilns have been unearthed and some of whose pieces are on display in the lift column giving access to the Esplanade.
